Meet Our ExecutivesChristine BaroninsI have been fortunate to experience the advantages of home life at both ends of the continuum - growing up in the same home for over 20 years and then experiencing 20+ moves over the next two decades. Living in the same neighbourhood provided me with a strong and familiar bond to the family home. I personally know the tender feelings of saying goodbye to the surroundings one grew up in and the special memories made within that home before moving on to new adventures. I couldn’t have predicted this would include multiple moves to different locations in both Canada and the United States, finally returning back to Winnipeg in 2003. Several of these moves took place within Winnipeg, awarding me the distinction of having lived in every quadrant of the city - North, East, South and West. These moving experiences provided me with first-hand exposure to Winnipeg neighbourhoods and their unique culture and varied amenities. It also resulted in expert skills in relocation, managing change and resiliency. With the influence of an architect partner, I developed keen understandings and insights into the form and function of buildings, the importance of aesthetics and how architecture plays a vital role in mood and feeling. I understand the key to transforming a house into a home through subtle but strategic decorative additions and subtractions helping to evoke greater warmth and balance to spaces. I have staged homes in preparation for sale garnering multiple offers and over list sales of $30k+ with all houses on the market less than 1 week. Expansive and varied life and career experiences prepared me for success in the real estate industry. As a substitute teacher with the largest school division in Winnipeg for over 16 years, I familiarized myself with the city, its neighbourhoods and many of its schools. Project management in government-funded social service programs and extensive and varied volunteer leadership roles in both Canada and the U.S. have provided me with the skills to manage and direct my own business and expand my circle of connection. My work as an employment counsellor further developed both my interpersonal and real estate skills. Working together to assess needs, resources and interests, identifying and mapping out personal goals and the path to achieve those goals are skills that align perfectly to the business of real estate. As a realtor, I will carefully listen to your needs and utilize my skills and experience to work with you on mapping out a plan for successful home sales and ownership. |
